WHAT IS THE CACHE COUNTY SHERIFF'S SEARCH & RESCUE?

The Cache County Sheriff's Search & Rescue, established 45 years ago, exists to provide the citizens of Cache County, Utah with professional search and rescue services free of charge 24 hours per day, 365 days per year.

Each year this 32 member team donates thousands of hours to provide these services without consideration for personal monetary compensation or reward. Our teams are trained to provide:

HIGH ANGLE TECHNICAL RESCUE
MOUNTAIN SEARCH & RESCUE
AVALANCHE RESCUE
WATER SEARCH & RESCUE
SWIFTWATER RESCUE

MANTRACKING

K9 SEARCH & RESCUE

We also participate in numerous community education, training and preparedness programs.

This is a significant effort. It often requires that volunteers sacrifice personal interests, time and equipment to perform dangerous tasks.

It is our duty, in Search and Rescue, to save lives and aid the injured. We will be prepared at all times to perform this duty quickly and efficiently, placing it before personal desires and comforts.

These Things We Do That Others May Live.
